Case 1:“Dream World Shanghai” Program
We are designated by the Information Office of Shanghai Municipality to produce a series of cultural products under the theme of “Dream World Shanghai”, including micro movies, books and picture albums. As part of Shanghai’s international publicity program, these products are designed to showcase Shanghai’s history, culture and legacy.
Shanghai: Mosaic of Dreams, the first book of the Program introducing Shanghai’s history, culture and people has been published in 2017. We provide a total language solutions including investigation, planning, compiling, translation and editing, aiming to promote Shanghai culture to the world and expand its international influence.
Case 2: China Intercontinental Communication Center
We have established long-term cooperation with China Intercontinental Communication Center, engaged in the translation of cultural products such as publicity videos and books about China.
Our translation of publicity videos covers 8 languages, including English, French, German, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Portuguese, totaling more than 2.5 million words.
Among the videos, the translated China national publicity film was played 8400 times in New York Times Square. The documentary "China in Transformation" was broadcast on CCTV.
The program was co-sponsored by Shanghai Foreign Cultural Exchange Association, Shanghai Culture Research Center of Shanghai University and Shanghai Translator Association, which aims to promote Shanghai culture going out successfully.
A total of 33 volumes of "Shanghai Culture Series" were published in 2010, which were written by more than 40 experts, scholars, journalists and famous writers from Shanghai. At present, the first translated book Shanghai Architecture has been translated and published. The translations of Shanghai Women and Shanghai Men have been basically completed.
